Spiral Bound Printed Wrappers. Etat : Fine. First Edition 1/800. np, profusely illustrated in b&w. Original design and photography by Gary Krueger. Text in English and French. With a bibliography. Published in conjunction with a 2000 French Museum exhibition, this lovely little volume limited to eight hundred copies reprints in facsimile wry Los Angeles based Conceptualist Allen Ruppersberg's artist's books "23 Pieces", "24 Pieces", and "25 Pieces" along with two new essays on this body of work by Liam Gillick and Christophe Cherix. The first two titles were originally self-published by Ruppersberg's Sunday Quality in 1969 and 1970, while "25 Pieces" - though conceived in 1970 - is issued here for the first time from the artist's surviving vintage maquette. A bright white, most handsome example of this uncommon item. Artist's Books.
