Livre Edition originale Signé
Hardcover. Etat : As New. Etat de la jaquette : As New. 1st Edition. 1st Printing. Signed. 240 pages. Published in 2002. Retrospective collection of female nudes. One of the most beautiful erotic art photography books of our time. Limited Edition. Precedes and should not be confused with the regular trade edition and all other subsequent editions, of which there are too many. Published in a small and limited print run with an original color print that reportedly did not exceed 25 copies. The Limited Edition is now rare. A brilliant production by Benedikt Taschen: Oversize-volume format. Black hard boards with titles on the cover and spine, as issued. Photographs by Chas Ray Krider. Text by Eric Kroll. 10 X 8 inch original color print of the Cover Image enclosed in its own plastic sheet and laid into the box. Hand-made black hard board box. Printed on pristine-white, thick coated stock paper in Italy to the highest standards. The reproduction quality is exemplary in every respect. In pictorial DJ with titles on the cover and spine, as issued. Presents, in its Limited Edition format, Chas Ray Krider's "Motel Fetish: A Hideaway For Dreams of Desire". Smokily evocative and sexy images of the most beautiful women in their underwear. Imagined by one of the most stylish photographers of the female nude. "A number of years ago, I began to see distinctive layouts that got me nervous. The photographs were that good. Whoever it was had style, and made the women HIS women. Krider Women. Women I began to desire on a monthly basis. In the world of professional golf, there is an expression: 'The world's greatest golfer not to win a major tournament'. Chas Ray Krider is the world's greatest erotic art photographer not to have a book. We now have these Krider images to pore over. He takes us to lustful places: Is it a crime scene or a sea of lust? These beautiful, languid women wait for whom? For you. They play the waiting game beautifully. Krider will take you places where you only think you have been" (Eric Kroll). Krider is the obsessive fetishist/artist/photographer par excellence, like Pierre Molinier, Helmut Newton, and Robert Mapplethorpe: "In the beginning, it was all stockings and girdles and high heels. Then, I discovered sheer panties. I really like this veiling. It is seeing and not seeing" (Chas Ray Krider). An absolute "must-have" title for Chas Ray Krider collectors. This is a copy of the Limited Edition, indicated/numbered as such on the accompanying original print. The latter is very prominently, neatly, and beautifully numbered, ante-dated (by two years, is a vintage print), and signed in black ink-pen on verso by the photographer: "MF6 Chas Ray Krider 2000". "MF" stands for "Motel Fetish", of which the print is Number 6. The print is highly collectible as it is the Cover Image. This title is a great erotic art photography book. As far as we know, this is the only copy of the Limited Edition With Original Color Print available online and is in especially fine condition: Clean, crisp, and bright. Please note: Krider signed the print, NOT the book. The vintage print, by itself, commands thousands of dollars. This is surely an accessible and lovely alternative. A rare signed copy thus. 160 color plates, 1 original color print. One of the most brilliant photographers of the female nude. A fine collectible copy. ISBN 3822814393. Signed by Author.
