Some foxing, but the 334-page text is fully legible, complete and securely bound. Includes a frontispiece with tissue and one other illustration from a a photograph. Binding stub between the contents and illustrations page. Uncut fore and bottom edges. Purple cloth with stamped gilt titling at the top of the upper board. Both boards are a bit rubbed, the upper board has some splash staining, and the lower board is somewhat sunned along the top and spine edges. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Notable tanning to spine and edges. Heavy splits to spine joints. Scuffing and light marking overall. Minor dark marking and water staining.
