Thin large octavo half brown calf over brown decorated boards stamped in gilt, housed in matching decorated slipcase. Laid in is an original Ernie Franklin watercolor in a simple paper chemise. The limitation page is signed by Hiilerman, Franklin, and the interviewer who wrote the introduction, Ernie Bulow. Illustrated with full-page b/w drawings by Franklin. An as new copy of a very scarce Hillerman. Signed by Author(s).

Book contains a long introduction by Bulow, Bulow s Interview of Hillerman, an essay by Hillerman titled Mystery, Country Boys, and the Big Reservation, and a Jim Chee short story, The Witch, Yazzie and the Nine of Clubs.
