Laminated wrappers, 8vo, 123 pp, plates. 385 entries. A catalogue of manuscripts, books, photographs, theatre programmes, play scripts, proofs, etc. Catalogue annotations are descriptive. Beckett had recently been awarded his Nobel Prize but his works were not widely-known and the exhibition was a tribute "in anticipation of the inevitable conversion of the majority to the appreciation of a rare genius." Ex-library, several labels and stamps on endpapers, institutional blind-stamp on title-page, call number on spine, in rather shabby dustwrapper with taped labels on spine.
