Illustrated by Alicia Austin; 4 colour plates including frontispiece, plus numerous line drawings throughout text. Publishers' purple cloth with silver titles to spine and upper board, and patterned endpapers, in unclipped pictorial dust-jacket also illustrated by Austin. Corners and spine tips a little rubbed; light foxing to plates otherwise clean and bright, with no annotation or inscriptions. Jacket slightly creased top edge, and lightly foxed to flaps. A very good copy in like jacket. Originally published in April 1966 by Galaxy, this is the first hardcover edition, with new illustrations. Heavyweight so a contribution towards increased postage costs will be requested for overseas delivery.
