A brilliant reformation of the original preface to the 1885 poem 'Leaves of Grass' arranged in verse by William Everson with a foreward by James D. Hart. Clean, square and tight. Pages are unmarked. Jacket has a couple of minor closed tears on the bottom of front cover and a minor area of loss to top left corner of front cover near the spine. Minor soiling on front and back; a tiny red pencil mark on right side of front cover. Otherwise a lovely oversized book.
