Inside pages are clean and unmarked, with a hint of darkening to the edges. Dustwrapper has wear to the edges, moreso the corners and spine ends. There is a darkened area on the front panel. Some overall soil to both panels. Not price clipped. The story of a year in the life of a male/female pair of badgers. Denys Watkins-Pitchford is known for his observant and empathetic stories and illustrations of nature and wildlife. Illustrated with black and white scraperboard drawings by the author.

The contents, with a little spotting at the text block edge, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the light rubbed, nicked and spotted dustwrapper which has a short closed tear to the front flap fold and a very tiny closed tear to the rear panel. Price-clipped. The jacket is otherwise in lovely clean condition with very little in the way of edge wear. A very nice example of this Watkins-Pitchford title. His love and knowledge of the English countryside especially around his native Northamptonshire shines through in his evocative b/w artwork.
