Hardcover. Etat : Near Fine. Etat de la jaquette : Near Fine. 1st Edition. Jack Pickle and Peter A. Peyser served in Congress together. Peyser's son sent Pickle a letter requesting that he send a signed copy of his book to his father. And he did that, along with a nice signed letter to Peter A. Peyser Jr. sharing his good feelings about his old colleague. The book has a warm inscription (they played paddle ball together in the good old days) and is signed by Congressman Pickle and his co-author and daughter Peggy Pickle. Say that five times. There are many b&w photographs. This book is a First edition, a Stated First Edition. It is in Near Fine Condition, perfectly clean inside and out, bright gilt lettering on the spine, no wear to call out, no markings on the pages, no creases, no writing in the book (excepting the authors inscription). And the same can be said about the dust jacket, the Un-clipped dust jacket. Looks great, no soiling, no wear that needs to be called out. Take a look at the pictures. See if you agree. The dust jacket will be fitted with a protective cover after the book is scanned. Inscribed by Author(s).
