Brown boards with gold lettering to spine and front are good with a few marks, little pushing/bumping to corners, minor darkening to spine, the odd small scratch, odd smal…l bump/rub to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/small splits to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Rough cut page edges and bottoms. Top of pages dyed brown (little spotted). Pages are a little tanned. Mild foxing/odd small mark to page edges, tops and bottoms. Previous owner's name in pen inside front board. Occasional foxing/odd small mark to pages (especially first and last few pages). No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

Only date on copy right page is 1929.This is a two volume set - Total number of pages is over 500 pages. Volume One is Rhyming poems; Volume Two - Unrhyming Poems. His collected works represent an extended reflection upon the… dehumanizing effects of modernity and industrialization. Brown cloth covered boards are clean.Very light edge wear despite age and not having a dust jacket. Gilding on spine is readable and basically unmarred. Binding is firm; there are no loose pages. No writing, tears or creases on interior pages. Overall interior pages are bright with light browning on edges which has to be expected given this book is going on 100 years old. It is a lovely antiquarian copy of D.H. Lawrence poems.
