Square, tight and clean throughout with no discernible wear. Equally attractive unclipped, though unpriced, dust-jacket, is fresh and bright with no creases, chipping, toning or tears. The dust jackets show a bit of edgewear including a small closed tear to the head of the jacke tspine of volume 1. Both volumes show staining to the top foredges which does not effect the interior. Volume one contains We Are For the Dark (previously published with Elizabeth Jane Howard, though the present volume contains only Aickman's entries), Dark Entries, Powers of Darkness and Sub Rosa. Volume two contains Cold Hand in Mine, Tales of Love and Death, Intrusions and Night Voices. An excellent book. Introductions by David Tibet and Ramsey Campbell. A further essay is included by Aickman. Excellent condition with just a couple of very minor signs of handling, some rolling to jacket edges.
