1st Edition.10.5 x 17 cm green cloth with gilt stamped titles to the spine, x [ii] 178 [2]pp with black and white full page frontispiece, headers to each chapter by B.B. and a diagram of a carp fisher's alarm bell by Richard Walker. In original unclipped dust jacket priced at 9s. net. The boards are clean with just a touch of fading to the spine with 0.5 cm band of more significant fading on the head of the spine. Internally without name, inscription or bookplate but with the occasional light handling mark. The dust jacket is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown) and a little rubbing to the spine tips and corners with minimal loss and a small 3mm tear to the bottom of the spine and a similar one on the top joint.
