Hardcover. Etat : Good +. first edition. 9 x 12 in. Not paginated. Tan cloth covers with black title rectangle. Lavish B&W photos with text. First edition, 1938. Hardcover, not paper, lacking the dustjacket. Condition is GOOD+ ; covers toned, more so at edges and spine. Covers have several faint stains. Small chips to spine ends. Binding tight. Endpapers have some toning, text and illustrations very clean with no markings. Photo. RGR.

Clean, solid, bright hardcovers & book. DJ has 1" strip across top edge front panel & dj torn away.removes tops on some of title letters. Back dj panel has 3x3" chip top near spine & 1" chips at back fold of dj. Inner flaps are fine.Bottom DJ spine strip missing 3". OW quite clean book & DJ.with some minor wear along edges of DJ. DRAMATIC DJ COVER PHOTO IS CLEAN & COMPLETE. HAS 2" CLOSED TEAR INTO GREY SKY COMING DOWN FROM WORD IN TITLE "DEATH". ; Tan titles on Black spine & cover boxes.TAN CLOTH HARD COVERS. all very nice as are endpapers and text papers.(text is on Matte textured paper, not glossy).Inner front gutter & entire binding is very sturdy, but does show a bit of coloring due to nature of binding glue.very limited .dj IS NOW UNDER PROTECTIVE VINYL COVER & HAS A MUCH NICER APPEARANCE. ; Classic Cover Photo Of Dying Soldier In White.
