The present copy is a presentation copy for Mark Van Doran with his name on the limitation page and with an inscription by the author to Van Doran on the front free endpaper dated 1931. This precedes even the early mimeograph copies in the late 1930's. A rare Dobie item. Bound in 1/4 maroon cloth over paper covered boards, lettered and decorated in gilt, Light wear to spine ends and corners. A very nice copy. [McVickers B-14, 6-Guns #603].
