End-papers browned but a very good clean copy. End-paper inscription (in Sybil Moat's hand) "Sibyl Moat. From E.E. Lea. Xmas 1918." It is believed that only 100 copies were printed for private circulation. "Knowing that all who were well acquainted with the late Archdeacon Lea, of Orchardlea, Droitwich, will take pleasure in reading the following Papers of his Fishing Reminiscences, I have have them printed for distribution among his most intimate friends and relations. The papers are arranged as they were written." (Josiah T. Lea in the Preface).
