Included with it are the XXIX Sonnets by Estienne De la Boetie (1530-1563), poet and essayist and friend of Montaigne. Both translated by US poet, Louis How (1873-1947). The Riverside Press was founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1852 by Henry Oscar Houghton, joint founder of the Houghton Mifflin Company in 1880 (Biblio website).
