Hardcover. Etat de la jaquette : Near Fine. First Edition. 187 pages. A comic espionage novel about a planned heist to steal an International Monetary Fund bond from the Bank of England. The first book by Johnson, who wrote a number of novels while working at the World Bank. First edition (first printing). Near fine in a near fine dust jacket. A bit of foxing to jacket and book. Inscribed by Johnson to book collector (Sir) Joseph Gold, who was knighted for decades of service to the International Monetary Fund. A nice association.
