Pictorial Hard Cover. Etat : Good. Etat de la jaquette : Fair. The first 156 pages are The Golden Touch about King MIdas. Pages 157-212 have Buckey Bug's Luck. Both stories and the endpapers have b/w illustrations. The first story has 6 plates of color illustrations. The spine strip has brown cloth; the corners are a little frayed. Some pages have darkened spots from fingerprints, foxing, etc. DJ: Chips, closed tears, and crease lines are along the top and bottom edges and on the folds, with four pieces of tape on the reverse side. The spine panel is a little faded. Shelf wear rubbing is mostly on the back panel. Scans e-mailed upon request.

First Edition. With "Copyright 1937 by Walt Disney Enterprises Hollywood, Calif." and "Printed in U.S.A." on the copyright page. Illustrated with 6 splendid color plates and numerous other black and white drawings and full-page plates by the Disney Studios. A lovely copy in the original sewn binding and gloriously crisp colored front boards depicting Midas chomping on an 18C chicken. Very tight and crisp with a faint crease along the spine. The poor quality paper is heavy stock but high in acid content; hence, the uniform browning to the text pages and the black and white full-page illustrations. The 6 full-page color plates are not affected in this way. In the scarce original dustjacket which is heavily edge-rubbed and lightly soiled on the rear panel. Light creases and a short closed tear at the bottom corner of the front panel of the jacket. First Edition. With "Copyright 1937 by Walt Disney Enterprises Hollywood, Calif." and "Printed in U.S.A." on the copyright page.
