Red buckram cloth cover on this 11.25 x 8.75 folio size. Cover is pristine. All pages inside are pristine. Nice deckled edges. Printed on high quality paper. 134 pages with 38 figures and 15 plates. Plates are engraved on glossy pages while the other heavy weight pages are matte. Lovely Frontispiece of the Royal Foundry, Woolwich, 1779. After Paul Sandy. R.A. Author Charles Ffoulkes, CB, OBE is an Officer of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Master of the Armouries Tower of London. Preface by Lord Cottesloe, CB, VD.
