Gold lettering on spines is shiny and legible. Very minor shelf wear at top edge of spine of vol. 1. Top fore edges have been dyed dark blue. Vol. 1 has folded maps of the Kingdom of Andalucia and a travelling map of Spain attached to rear endpapers. Vol. 3 has a 1 page errata as the very last page. Illustration of Richard Ford as frontispiece of Vol. 1. Illustration of Casa Sanchez as frontispiece of vol. 2. Illustration of the leaning Torre Nueva as frontispiece of vol. 3. Pages of all 3 volumes are in excellent shape. Text has been well preserved and is tidy. Bindings secure with no missing pages. Very Good Conditions. Gold stamped spine bright; 5 raised bands. Stamped "Bound by J. Larkins".Vol.I & II are a matched bound set. The leather has slight rubbing & scuffing to tips & edges, else very good.
