Ajouter au panierHardcover. Etat : Very Good. London, F. Pitman, 'Fourth edition, revised' [circa 1870s]. Octavo, xii, 100 pages plus 5 plates. Cloth a bubbled and marked (with several drink rings on the front cover!); front cover a little bowed; minor signs of use and age; overall, a very good copy. Provenance: 'George Bone, Adelaide' is written in ink on the front pastedown and title page. 'His father was William Bone a brewer at West End in S Australia and George joined the company there as a clerk in Mr Simms' office. Mr Simms required someone to look after his interests in Phillipson's Cue Brewing Company in Cue WA. This company was registered in SA and George moved west to take up his new position' (for this and more, look up FORWA, Finders of Relics - Western Australia).

Volume with large splash stains to upper and lower covers, shallow stains to fore-edge of first and last two leaves, eps browned, original bookseller's tag to front pastedown, 3 tiny holes to upper gutter, text unmarked.
