This 367 pp. indexed book is an excellent general history of Kentucky, prepared for use in the schools of the state, that covers the period from the earliest discoveries and settlements to the year 1898. Internally, the book is in great shape for it's age, and totally unmarked except for a prior owner's name penned atop the title page. Externally, the book is intact, but the bottom 2 corners are a bit rough and rounded, and the lettering on the spine is quite faint. Photos upon request.
