Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for a remainder mark on the textblock top. Book Condition: Near Fine; scant shelfwear to board edges. DJ: Very Good +; Price Clipped; small closed tears to tops and bottoms of panels near the spine. Light brown boards and spine with green lettering on the spine and front board. 159 pp 4to. This book is about a small village a few miles from Delhi that are very much like they were hundreds of years ago. Accompanying the photographs of the village and the villagers, the author discusses their way of living, customs, superstitions, and other daily matters that may seem strange to American readers, but to the villagers, they all have a firm logical reason for existing and maintaining order. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
