He invited 70 of Italy's leading artists to contribute a picture on the theme of work. They also had to provide a short biography and a self portrait sketch. The only stipulation re the content of the pictures submitted was that they must include a Verzocchi firebrick somewhere in the composition. Clean, tight and sound copy. The impressive dust jacket ( designed by the renowned 'futurist' Fortunato Deporo ) is not price clipped and is a little rubbed and age stained, slightly faded on the spine. There is minor loss at the head of spine panel. Presentation inscription signed by Verzocchi on the half title. 463 pages, 70 colour plates. Size approx. 12" by 9".
