Very Good: solid; corners lightly rubbed, with an 1/8" tear in cloth at spine bottom; light name on lower title page, and a 3.7x3.3 inch newspaper article about the book pasted onto the front endpaper, else unmarked. 51 songs, all in English (Manx titles given), with music. The Deemster Gill was one of the two judges of Man. Some woefully sad songs! Interesting prefaces on Manx history and music. Hardcover in red cloth embossed, gilt, all edges gilt, xiv +145 pp., 7 x 10 inches tall. Binding protected in stiff clear mylar, (archival quality). .

8vo xiv, 145pp. Very good red cloth, gilt in chipped and grubby dust-jacket. Although the same plate number as another copy we have had, this appears to be a later issue, as the price on title page is Paper cover 6s, Cloth 9s, whereas we have seen a copy with price Paper cover 2s 6d, Cloth 4s. PN H1515. The cloth cover says "Royal Edition".
