Original 11" x 17" color poster for this John Cleese event at which Cleese appeared and screened MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL, and then discussed the film with the audience. The poster has a green background with two medieval knights fighting, four color picyures from the film, and a color portrait of Cleese. The poster states in part, "Co-creator of the Monty Python Flying Circus and star of numerous films including A FISH CALLED WANDA, the comically gifted actor and writer, John Cleese, has lent his delightfully wry witticisms and memorable voice to a host of projects from FAWLTY TOWERS to SHREK THE THIRD. Cleese will introduce the hilariously farcical MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL and answer audience questions about his side-splitting depiction of the Black Knight and this landmark work following the screening." The event was a fund raiser and advertised largely by flyers. Posters were made available for highly trafficked areas but due to cost, the number of posters produced for this event was limited.
