Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. Etat de la jaquette : Good. Jonathan Winters (illustrateur). 1st Edition. Each page of this charming book is a visual joke, with art and punch line by comedy master Jonathan Winters. This copy, which has "First Printing, 1965" on its copyright page, is shelf-worthy, or you could buy to cut out and frame Jonathan Winters' humorous sketches. The book is in very good condition, marred only by a former owner gift inscription on front pastedown, a price in ink on the front end paper, and some spine lean. Binding is sound. Covers are unmarked and unfaded, with very light bumps on corners and on top and bottom of spine, otherwise unworn. Pages are unworn and otherwise unmarked. The price-clipped dust jacket is in good+ condition, unmarked and unfaded, with wear and tiny chipping at top of bottom of spine and on corners, plus a 1/2" scrape on front (likely from removal of a price sticker.) As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its proud new owner in the same condition as my description.

Hardcover. Etat : Fine. Etat de la jaquette : Very Good. 1st Edition. A superb first print copy in near fine condition and a very good unclipped dustjacket. This copy has been signed by Comedian Jonathan Winters along with a caricature of an owl and the caption "Wise Owl". Tight and clean copy--except for one small gift inscription to the front free endpaper--or would be fine. The dustjacket is complete, unclipped and bright with just a bit of very shallow edgewear to a small portion of the extremities-- one small crease to the back panel--and two small closed end tears--a very collectible copy--scarce in this condition and with the caricature. Unpaginated. A grouping of the author's doodlings and sketches--in a very small and quite collectible book. Signed by Author(s).
