Houser helped found in 1953 the American Committee on Africa (ACOA); from 1955-1981 he served as Executive Director of the ACOA and he also was Executive Director of the Africa Fund from 1966-1981. A pretty copy and a nice association copy of an elusive and early Nelson Mandela publication in the United States.
