8vo. pp 49. Wraps. Original publisher's green covers, lettered black. Ownership signature on the front cover of Arthur Eustace Morgan (1886 1972) was Vice-Chancellor of McGill University. Born in Bristol, he published several books on literature, poetry and drama. Slight tanning to covers and some chipping at yapped edges, overall a used, near very good copy with clean text.

Light thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Moderate cracking to gutters and hinges causing some slight looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild chipping, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with noticeable loss, splitting and crushing to ends.

There is an illustration on the front cover for "Maunsel's Irish Plays," part of "The Abbey Theatre Series." Although uncredited, this is obviously the work of Jack B. Yeats. Clean text; 49 pages, with Cast List and four pages of adverts in the rear." Previous-owner signature on the FFEP. Chipped at the head of the spine, mildly bumped, some grubbiness at the outer margins. Still, a solid copy of this rare title. In an archival plastic protector. First Edition. Hard Cover.
