Special copy from an edition of 150 copies on Arches paper, this copy with an original charcoal drawing signed by Jeanniot and two "bons a tirer" etchings of the drawing which is hors texte in chapter 7, together with a blue sheet that is filled out by hand noting the name of the collector for whom this copy was printed. Bound by David: full olive green morocco, with purple border onlay between two triple gilt fillet borders on front and back panel, top edge gilt, seven gilt borders on turn-ins, watered chestnut sil, spine panelled, raised bands, with author and title in gilt, onlay of purple morocco with triple gilt fillets in each panel replicating design on panel, spine faded to tan, tiny bit of rubbing on bottom spine edge, else fine; original wrappers bound in; binding signed on lower front turn-in "David" and dated "1914." Page size: 11-3/8" x 8-1/8". A handsome binding on a lovely book, lavishly illustrated with full page etchings and many etchings in-texte.
