Dust jacket has some wear but fully intact with no tears. Taupe cloth cover is in remarkable shape for a book of this age. Inscription is on inside front endpages and is dated 1961. Pages have deckled edges and the bind is nice and tight. Pages are unmarked with no bends or tears observed. Ephemera included is a copy of the dust jacket for another Archibald Rutledge book Life's Extras. All in all, a very unique find in excellent condition. BR (207).

Rutledge is remembered most as one of America's most respected & appreciated outdoor writers. He was a Poet Laureate of South Carolina.
