Prima edizione di questo delicato poema di stampo pre-romantico che ebbe uno straordinario successo in Francia a inizio Ottocento. Questa è la versione di formato più grande rispetto a quella in 16° uscita nello stesso anno. Finissime le illustrazioni da disegni del Monsieau.
