Hardcover. Etat : Good. Etat de la jaquette : Fair. University of New Mexico Press, 1977. Clean, sound copy of these re-issues, of the 1970 original, in the case of San Ildefonso, 1938 in the case of Santo Domingo. As such, they make a matched pair - same dimensions: 12 1/4" X 9 1/4" and dust jacket design: cream-colored background with ochre design elements. They are solid and unmarked, slightly cocked. The dust jackets are similarly chipped at the edges, shelf-worn. One has a strip of a former owner's label maker on the paste-down end paper, the other the patch of a removed adhesive strip. Laid in is an essay on the San Ildefonso work by a knowledgeable writer, with corrections - it's unattributed, but I wonder if it wasn't one of the couple whose names are included in another book in the catalog: "The Rain Bird", and is on the label maker strip.
