Hardcover. Etat : Near Fine. Etat de la jaquette : Very Good. 1st Edition. You re in the Racket, Too, James Curtis. 1938. Alfred A. Knopf. 8vo. 298pp. First American edition, first printing. Cream cloth with attractive decoration to the spine panel, in the scarce dust jacket which tells of the story of this, James Curtis second work. Near fine in very good or better dust jacket, unclipped with $2.50 net to front flap, some light chips to the corners and spine tips with a little loss and one or two small closed tears. Back panel a touch toned but very presentable indeed in Mylar. Cloth very clean and sharp, the corners very mildly bumped and one very tiny split to spine head, negligible, really. The binding tight and square, topstain relatively bright. Internally about fine, small stain to ffep top edge with one or two faint instances of handling, else fine. With receipts for the purchase of the book dated 2000. Scarce.
