CONDITION: Near Fine in Fine jacket; no names or other marks, tight, appears unread, because of the lamination process, the spine lamination in the joint is not as smooth as could be, jacket is fresh and glossy; unclipped 14.95. Picture Book hardback. Not an ABC, but a political fable for older children: an illiterate tyrant ordered his soldiers to sweep up all the letters in the village and arrested Placido whose canaries had been printing leaflets (read the book!).
