G/none, gray colored illustrated stiff paper wraps, embossed on the upper is "Colt Fire Arms-The Arm of Law and Order". 40pp. Interior clean no marks except some former owner has inked in with pen the 1930's price of most of the different models. Binding tight. Slight shelf rubbing to wraps, slight finger soiling over-all. Laid in loose is the original pink colored retail price list for 1931. Also laid in loose is a reprinted chapter on "Safety with Firearms" from "The Modern Gunsmith". Also laid in loose is an 12" X 16" fold out advertising sheet that was vintage reprinted from the 1931 The American Rifleman magazine which shows the Colt 1911 pistol in .22 Long Rifle. The brochure has a fold line vertically in center.

Stiff gray paper wraps saddle stapled, titles embossed and printed in blue, blind embossed border and Rampant Colt. Laid in Retail Price List "PL 11" of January 1930. Laid in announcement of "Two New .22 Caliber Colt Revolvers." Covers minimally stained, leaves crisp and bright. A brief history begins "Ninety-three Years of Colt Fire Arms Manufacture," dated from the first revolvers made at Paterson New Jersey in 1836. The new .22 caliber products announced are the Official Police Revolver and Officers' Model Target Revolver. Front cover emblazoned with the company motto" "The Arm of Law and Order". A handsome, fresh copy now preserved in a clear archival sleeve with an acid-free backing.

This may have been sent to a dealer but not sure.
