The tragic story of the massacre of more than 1,800 Italian civilians by the German Army in 1944. The dust jacket is intact and has been protected with a clear, removable cover, just a couple of dots of rubbing wear to the top left side of the front panel of the jacket, sun fading to the spine as well. Jacket cover had been taped to the boards with thin strips of masking tape, which are still attached to the boards. The boards are flat, the corners are not bumped or creased. No edge wear to the boards, the sewn binding is tight and square. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. This is not a library discard, not a remainder. Attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
