Bound with ; .Opera seconda, Parigi, 1706, title + preface from the composer + 62 pp of engraved music + 1 engraved pp (privilege). Bound in contemporary mottled calf, raised gilt spine, binding slightly damaged but still a good copy, printed on strong paper. The first work contains sonatas I -VI for violin and basso continuo (pp. 1-31), scores for both instruments printed one underneath the other. Pages 32-59 contain sonatas VII - XII for 4 instruments. Printed are the scores for the first violin, the violincello and the basso continuo. The composer writes at the end that the score for the second violin will be added in a separate booklet. This booklet is missing. The second work contains XV sonatas for violin and basso continuo, score for both instruments printed one underneath the other, stave per stave. Rare convolute of 27 sonatas of Michele Maschetti , with only missing the score for the second violin of the sonatas 6-12. Michele Mascitti (1664-1760).
