Etat : Fair. 1943. No. 314 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth covered board with gilt. Top edge of text block dyed green. Binding remains reasonably firm. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Previous owner's inscription and pencil marking to front free end-paper. Two heavier brown marks to rear paste-down. Heavier marking to text block edges. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Book has a slight forward lean. Cloth to both boards is wrinkled and slightly slack. Both boards are marked with small stains. Gilt lettering is darkened.
