Hardcover. Etat : Acceptable. As is. Red cloth pictorially stamped in gilt; top edge gilt; many b&w plates. The spine has extensive damage, torn over halfway down the rear joint, then across to the front. There is a 2" tear to the bottom of the front joint, and the spine has been well-rubbed and is chipped at the head. The front hinge is rather weak, the rear less so, and the frontispiece is detached but present. The cloth is mildly soiled and mottled in a a few tiny spots, else the gilt on the front board is bright, and the interior is quite clean. It's a fair copy all around, yet with repair could be made quite attractive.
