A short children's tale, translated from the Swedish, written and illustrated by Elsa Beskow. Beskow was a noted children's author and illustrator from Sweden. GOOD condition. Moderate toning to the covers, with minor soiling and a few small stains. Paper chipped, creased and worn along the extremities, with the cloth spine split along its length and being rather frayed and worn. Owner's inscription on the inside front cover. Minor toning to the paper. Light scattered soiling.
