Hardcover. Etat : Good. Hardcover. Illustrated paper with red lettering over boards and red cloth over spine. Title page not dated. Copyright page dated 1923. Unpaginated. Good condition. Rubbing to edges, rounding and exposing boards at corners. Binding beginning to crack at foot, starting at front gutter. First half of pages separated near foot at spine. A small closed tear to title page and some discoloration to that page. Former owner wrote her name on both end pages. A good reading copy with color illustrations throughout.

Overall a bright beautifully illustrated copy with only some very minor soiling to bottom page margins. ; 8vo illustrated cloth with red spine, full color illustrations front & rear boards, illus. Eps, unpaginated. ChildrenÕs story book relating the escapades of a young duck who runs away from the farm only to fall into company with a fox. A happy ending for the ducks, although not so for the fox. Includes full color and b&w illustrations on every page.

Openings along spine to bottom of some pages. Writing atop one page. Back free endpaper not present. Despite the numerous deficiences of this copy, its charming colour-illustrated boards and pages still make it a worthy vintage copy.
