This is number 58." Book is inscribed by author Willa Cather. Published in 1923, this book tells the story of Marian Forrester and Captain Daniel Forrester. This book was cited as an influence for F. Jacket has tiny corner chips, bit darkened & lightly rubbed spine, chips to spine tips (no loss of lettering), nice otherwise. The Canadian edition was made from the US first issue sheets (with a cancel title leaf), as it has "of" instead of "af" on line 19 of page 174. The spine had toned a bit, consistent with darkening of the jacket spine.With ' af' corrected to ' of ' on line 19 of page 174. Spine has title of book appearing atop Cather's name.
