PO name neatly stamped on inside cover, unobtrusive under front jacket flap. also a small neat scripted name on ffep. Otherwise internally FINE, with no other written markings. As standard practice for the time, the rear inside endpaper has the pasted-in label of the original book store where this volume was purchased. The book and pages have sharp points. 1934 printing, no editions or printings cited. Rilke is the premiere WWI post-apocalypse philosopher. LIMITED EDITION, This copy numbered 93 of only 100 copies ever printed. 8 pages, oversized, approx. 20" x 13.5" folio with two separate sheets also of this size laid in unbound. (These sheets may be sold separately from the folio if desired - they do not necessarily go together but are all of the same size and origin). The outer folio (4 pages) is "A Un Jeune Poete" par Rainer-Maria Rilke, En sejour a Worpswede, pres de Breme, le 16 Juillet 1903. It contains the complete text of Chapter IV "Letter to a Young Poet" by Rainer Maria Rilke. On the verso it is numbered 93/100, and states "Imprime sur les presses a bras de l'atelier louis jou aux baux-de-provence par Roland Bauza". Printed on fine French Arches paper. The first sheet laid in is a fine block printing on the recto of "Priete de L'artisan", the watermark states "Fondation Louis Jou, Les Baux 1983". The second sheet laid in is a woodcut printing of "En Arles" de Paul-Jean Toulet, Imprime aux Baux-de-Provence par Roland Bauza. These sheets are sold as a complete set for $250.
