Titre : The story of the '' New Horizon L ''.
Reliure : Hardcover
S.l. ( at sea ), private edition ( Abraham van Leeuwen ) , 1983, oblong in-4°, 135 pp, numerous full page colour illustrations of the yacht's interior, bound in blue padded vinyl, colour picture on front cover, edges gilt (publisher's binding). Bi-lingual ; English and French. Finely produced description of one of the most remarkable luxury yachts ever built. It was commissioned and owned by the Dutch business man Abraham van Leeuwen ( alias Prince de Lignac ; 1918 - 2001, hence the letter L in name ), who ran his business empire from aboard this ship. He was the first important openly gay business tycoon in the Netherlands. The interior of his yacht was designed by Luigi Sturcchi and the least one can say is that it shows an extravagant luxury. Apart from being a description of the yacht the book also serves as an introduction for guests invited aboard with e.g. a daily timetable, advise on what to bring with you etc. N° de réf. du libraire 39616
