Professor Chandra Kumar is a Senior Consultant in Anaesthesia and Professor of Anaesthesia, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore. His interests include ophthalmic, regional, elderly and colorectal anaesthesia. He has edited six textbooks and published widely in peer review journals. He has lectured and conducted master classes on ophthalmic regional anaesthesia worldwide for the World Congress of Anaesthesiology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the AAGBI, amongst others. He founded the British Ophthalmic Anaesthesia Society is also examiner for the Final FFARCSI examinations for The College of Anaesthetists, Dublin and Final Part of European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia. Professor Chris Dodds is a consultant anaesthetist and professor of anaesthesia based the James Cook University Hospital. He is a former vice president of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and a former president of the British Ophthalmic Anaesthesia society. Dr. Steven Gayer is Professor of both Anesthesiology and Ophthalmology at the University of Miami School of Medicine's renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He is former president of the Ophthalmic Anesthesia Society and is the author of the American Society of Anesthesiologists' Refresher Course on orbital anaesthesia. In addition to his numerous papers and editorials in the field, he has lectured, chaired meetings, conducted expert panels, and held workshops on ophthalmic anaesthesia throughout the world.
