Biographie de l'auteur :

Sandra Giddens has been both a special education consultant and coordinator in the Toronto District School Board dealing with students with special needs, including teens with Asperger's syndrome, with learning disabilities, and suffering from depression. She cochairs the parent association of her son's high school and brings in guest speakers to talk about teen issues, some of which can lead to suicide, such as anorexia, depression, anxiety, and bullying on the Internet, as well as parenting a teenager. She presently is part of a multidisciplinary team dealing with autism. She has written a number of books for Rosen Publishing, including Coping with Grieving and Loss.
