Text based on the Hodder & Stoughton 1983 edition. The illustrations by Kay Nielsen are from the 1925 Hodder & Stoughton edition. A few tiny scratches to gilt foredges.

Best of all, it maintains all of the lovely illustrations by Kay Nielsen from 1925, including the frontispiece + 11 full-page plates, some full-color, some pen-and-ink, throughout the 276 pp. of text. Small quarto (7.75" x 10.25") is covered in deep green leather stamped with gilt design & lettering to front & spine, gilt to all outside page edges.
