Illustratred original softcover biniding. 24x16 cm * Die Phönizier (auch Phönikier) waren ein semitisches Volk des Altertums, das hauptsächlich in Phönizien im Bereich des jetzigen Libanons und Syriens an der Mittelmeerküste lebte. Die wichtigsten Stadtstaaten waren Akko, Arados, Byblos, Berytos, Karthago, Sidon und Tyros, wobei Tyros zwischen 1000 und etwa 774 v. Chr. und anschließend Karthago bis 146 v. Chr. Il sera conseiller de presse du Président Amine Gemayel puis Directeur du service mondial arabe de l'Agence France Presse, jusqu'en 1998, et se consacrera ensuite à son oeuvre maîtresse, "Le Mémorial du Liban", une monumentale histoire du Liban de 1861 à nos jours.
