An introduction by The Earl of Cromer. Binding remains firm. One or two cracked gutters. Pages and maps are moderately tanned throughout. Heavier tanning to front free endpaper. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends. Slight bumping to corners with fraying to cloth. Heavy tanning all over as well as scuffs and water marks to top edge of back board. Gilt lettering is darkened.
